The band’s origins date back to 1986, but it wasn’t until the early 1990s that they began to be spoken of loud and clear. The release of the material recorded in December 1991 at the legendary Studio Złota Skała by Robert Brylewski, Marek Grzesik and Smok, left no doubt. Originally released on CD and cassette by QQRYQ in 1992, in the early 2000s reissued on vinyl, CD and cassette by Nikt Nic Nie Wie. The material was moving to the core with its ingenuity, punchiness, dynamism, distinctive melodies and brilliant musical and vocal performance. More than 30 years later, it moves no less intensely than when it was first released. It is one of the best and undoubtedly most classic albums to have appeared in the Polish scene. After its release, the band also became internationally recognised, and some time later they were seen on many European tours, blazing a trail for other bands from Poland. They were definitely one of the most active and hard-working bands of their time. Their first album proves that the term ‘classic’ is not just the domain of albums from the 70s and 80s. It is also a landmark album for the history of the domestic scene for several reasons – it was the first album by a Polish punk/hc band with female lead vocals. It was a big source of inspiration for other projects, which were formed in more mixed line-ups than had previously been the case. What’s more, it was the first time the band consciously consciously chose to be part of the independent scene, despite offers from larger commercial labels. In doing so, they helped to define a structure that was likely to develop in the early 1990s as a counter-response to the mainstream. Add to this the fact that no other item released in the underground has received the same distribution and sales as this material, and we already know that no one over here can beat this result.
The new release of the album includes a deluxe edition with gatefold cover and a 20-page 30×30 booklet. New remastering was of course done by Smok from Post Regiment and Studio As One. Songs included on this edition is a 1991 session with seventeen tracks that were originally only released in this form on the cassette version.
