Known as The Black Album, the fifth album of the same name by Metallica has long been one of the largest and most important album releases in music history: Critically acclaimed, the album not only brought the band the first # 1 in the album charts in 10 countries in 1991 - in the States alone, it stayed at the top for four weeks - but also a whole series of hit singles: "Enter Sandman", "The Unforgiven", "Nothing Else Matters", "Wherever I May Roam" and "Sad But" True ".

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of this iconic milestone, which has been awarded a GRAMMY and 16x US platinum (4x DE platinum), the definitive remastered new edition of The Black Album is now being released. It is published as a 2LP (180g), standard and 3CD expanded edition, digitally and as a limited edition deluxe box set. The latter combines the 2LP, a picture disc, 3 live LPs, 14 CDs (with all rough mixes, demos, interviews, live recordings, etc.), 6 DVDs (outtakes, BTS material, official videos, live material), a 120 -page hardcover book, four laminated tour IDs, three lithographs, three picks, a Metallica lanyard, a folder with sheets of text and a download card.
