"All this Time" is the third release from southern California's Freewill. Their debut "Sun Return" was recorded in 1989 when they were playing out with the likes of Uniform Choice, The Offspring, Insted, and many other other popular groups of the era. After taking 28 years off, the band wrote and recorded the "Pedestrians" EP (New Age Records) and then a split EP (Goodwill Records) in 2020.
With the Covid-19 lockdown putting a stop to live shows and get-together’s in general, the band started writing what would become the "All This Time" LP. It wasn't until December of 2020 when the band enlisted veteran engineer/producer Paul Miner (New Found Glory, Thrice, Terror) to put the pieces in place.
Freewill's newest release will be available late this summer on Unity WorldWide Records. Mixing the influences of Dag Nasty, 7 Seconds and Descendents, their upcoming eleven-song album is an ode to their past and their plans for the present/future. With Covid-19 restrictions easing in many parts of the world, Freewill, after all this time, is finally going to make their special brand of melodic hardcore available "WorldWide".
