UNCLE DADDY is the new album of the London punks WONK UNIT. The album is characterized by Alex Wonk's usual straightforward storytelling based on his very own humor and a lot of irony. Like the previous albums, the songwriting on UNCLE DADDY again moves beyond typical genre pigeonholes. So also this time synthesizer hooks and guitar experiments are not renounced. The whole thing is complemented by songs like RAISE MY GLASS or BLOODSTAINS, where keyboarder Vez wrote the lyrics and takes over the main vocals. Fresh wind in the house of WONK and a worthy successor to the TERROR album. The LP comes on black 180 gram vinyl with download code and insert card in an inside-out cover made of heavy cardboard.
