Raw, unfiltered and full of energy, “Live SO36” captures punk rock at its best. New Model Army's complete electrifying performance from July 16, 2022, at Berlin's legendary SO36 is released for the first time in audio and video format, featuring 19 songs, including fan favorites like “The Hunt” and “Poison Street” as well as rare tracks the band has never played live before. The album is an indirect follow-up to their live album “Sinfonia” from 2023, which was a huge chart success in Germany (#1 video charts, #6 album charts). After playing a concert with a full orchestra at the Tempodrom, the band wanted to do the exact opposite again and booked two nights at SO36, the legendary punk rock sweatbox in Kreuzberg, to return to the simplest version of New Model Army. They played 38 different songs over the two evenings. In addition to the 19 songs, the first release of both formats also includes an exclusive audio download for the unreleased show 2, which was recorded one day later on July 17, 2022.
