Planlos X, the band that was known as Planlos in the GDR from 1980 to 1983, present their new single together with their long-time friends, Die Toten Hosen. 7’ vinyl single in cardboard cover with two special colours, a printed insert and download code on major label. Planlos are icons of GDR punk rock. Their lyrics were politically explicit and of an oppressive poetry. Hardly any other band epitomised the charisma of East Berlin punk in the early 1980s to such an extent. The band performed exclusively illegally. In 1983, Planlos played a highly conspiratorial concert with Die Toten Hosen in the Erlöserkirche (Berlin-Rummelsburg), which resulted in the ARD documentary ‘Auswärtsspiel’ (2022) and a band friendship that continues to this day, with further joint appearances. With the A-side ‘Marianne’, Planlos pay tribute to the East punk love song ‘Marianne’ (1983) by their Magdeburg scene colleagues Restbestand. Die Toten Hosen play the iconic Planlos classic ‘Überall Wohin's Dich Führt’ together with Planlos on the B-side.
