Description

The Menzingers are an American garage punk band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. The quartet formed in 2005 and quickly rose to the top of the punk rock league with their catchy riffs, fist-in-the-air sing-along refrains, melodic basslines and tight drumming. In 2012, The Menzingers celebrated their debut on Epitaph, the label of Bad Religion frontman Brett Gurewitz, with the fan- and critically acclaimed album "On The Impossible Past". The album "Rented World" followed in April 2014. The album "After The Party", released in February 2017, is the third on Epitaph and the fifth in the band's history. But don't be fooled by the title, there is no sign of gloom. Grandiose melodies, furious power chords and a rousing dynamic still dominate the all-round life-affirming sound of the Menzingers. So what's the story behind the title? Well, all four band members are approaching 30. But that's not the end of the fun, as singer and guitarist Greg Barnett emphasises, after all, the boys can still do what they love. "After The Party" shows that you don't have to grow up and get bored, you can still have a good time. After the party is before the party.
