German "90s Oi!": In this category there are some classics, besides "Randale, Pogo, Alkohol" by BIERPATRIOTEN, "Wir für uns..." by LOIKAEMIE or "Oi! is Fun" by VOLXSTURM, "Ey! Die Platte" has to be ranked at the top. Both bands transport(ed) the (East) Berlin post-reunification spirit in such a credible way that one was sure that these troops really licked the dirt from the gutter and really know how shit tastes. But of course "Ey! Die Platte" is not only lyrically and atmospherically an absolute exception, also musically SHOCK TROOPS as well as KIEZGESÖX plastered some unforgettable bangers around our ears: "Terrorist", "Jungs wie wir" or the überhit "Prenzlauer Berg" are simply merciless hits of their time. Probably the protagonists didn't even know what they had shaken out of their sleeves at the time.
In cooperation with parts of both bands and the kind permission of VoPo RECORDS now finally the reissue of this time document. Comes in slightly changed original artwork and a photo collage with old pictures of that time.
