Deafheaven's new album is being released by Roadrunner this time and thus joins their history of label changes. After the first single ‘Magnolia’, one might assume that the album will once again go in a more black metal-influenced direction. Based on the guest musicians - such as: Paul Banks (Interpol), Jae Matthews (Boy Harsher) - one could also assume that it oscillates between this and the more moderate tones of the previous album. One thing is for sure, it won't leave anyone indifferent.
