Beastie Boys - to the 5 boroughs

Am 8.12. werden drei wichtige Alben der allseits beliebten BEASTIE BOYS wieder auf Vinyl veröffentlicht: "In Sound From Way Out" (1996) als Einzel-Vinyl, "To The 5 Boroughs" (2004) als 2LP und "Hot Sauce Committee Part Two" (2011) ebenfalls als 2LP. Alle drei LPs sind auf 180gr Vinyl repressed worden.

Kurz zu den jeweiligen Alben: "The In Sound From The Way Out!" ist eine groovige Sammlung von Instrumentals aus den "Check Your Head" und "Ill Communication" Sessions inkl. einiger neuer Songs (damals). "To The 5 Boroughs" ist das 6. Album der HipHop Combo und ist ein Kleinod an ihre Stadt, an die Weltstadt New York. Bekannte Nummern darauf sind: "Ch-check It Out", "Triple Trouble" oder noch "An Open letter To NYC". Das Album "Hot Sauce Committee Part Two" ist das 8. und letzte Studioalbum der Band. Es stieg direkt auf Platz #2 der US Billboard Top 200 Charts ein und enthielt u.a. Singles wie "Too Many Rappers" und "Make Some Noise".
