It's the year 2012. No Future was yesterday, Phon is now called dB and even the Internet has become halfway established. Now "also" too. Don't you have anything better to do than listen to Die Ärzte?
The end is not over yet. The best band in the world is now a democracy, a triumvirate of goodwill, a GbR of justice and they have far too much time on their hands not to worry about the rock. And of course about all phases of the closer relationship between men & women & everyone else. From the more or less shy courtship behaviour during the more or less hopeful first long-distance contact to the passive-aggressive psycho-terror of the post-partnership. It gets philosophical to boot.
"zeiDverschwÄndung" asks about the meaning of our existence and whether we shouldn't just do something other than being a fan of BelaFarinRod. "Tamagotchi" counters the difficult ethical problems in the dawning age of artificial intelligence with a true hymn to emotion. "Waldspaziergang mit Folgen" provides a completely new approach to theosophy. "M&F", on the other hand, generally just want to pop in all constellations.
die ärzte: Now with absolute emptiness, a lot of HeyHey!, a god on the shelf and the crucial question: is this still punk rock?
