Rantanplan - Am Meer EP

"Rantanplan" have been a permanent institution for almost 30 years and no longer "just" within the subcultures, narrowly missing the top ten with their last album "AHOI" 2023 (#11 / 03.03.2023). With the unreleased song "Am Meer", available exclusively on vinyl, the band is back on Sunny Bastards Records. "Am Meer" is just the right catchy tune "to lie on the beach between 3 elements" and enjoy the summer in a good mood with a cool beer! Extremely danceable ska-punk and a clear hit from the Waterkant! The B-side "Sand am Meer" only superficially picks up on the carefree summer feeling, because Rantanplan have always been more than just a fun band and pack their socio-political messages subtly rather than boldly into their music. "Idiots are a dime a dozen"_who would disagree? Previously only released online from "Ahoi" sessions as a Digital 2021 single, the song is now finally available on vinyl for the first time! Strictly limited to a total of 500 copies, the 7" will be released in hardcover in a colorful variety as red'n'white inside out and clear with blue & black splatter vinyl (200 copies ww each). For purists of course also available as black vinyl (100 copies ww).
