Stooges, The - Fun House
Description
Over several days in May 1970, the Stooges went to Elektra Sounds Recorders in Los Angeles to record their second and ultimately final album for the label. The idea was to capture the sound of a Stooges concert as best as possible on vinyl. For this purpose, each track was recorded live in the studio over and over again over many days; In the end, seven tracks were cut from these session reels and re-arranged and spliced ??together to create the original 1970 album. Although Fun House sold poorly and was quickly universally criticized upon its initial release, it is now recognized as a true American classic
