Sodom is a German thrash metal band founded in 1981 in Gelsenkirchen and is considered one of the big four of Teutonic thrash metal alongside Kreator, Destruction and Tankard. Over the course of their 43-year career, they have released seventeen studio albums and constantly tour the world in front of sold-out festival and club audiences to an enthusiastic fan base. They also have a loyal fan club, the Sodomaniacs. Their last studio album reached number 10 in the charts in Germany.

There are also three full, previously unreleased concerts from Tapping The Vein's tour cycle, including a recording of former drummer Christian Dudek's final performance with the band in Cologne.
