Felt Better Alive is Peter Doherty's first solo album in nine years and his most confident collection to date. Infused with radiant playfulness, at times almost innocent, it's imbued with characteristic melodic flair, whimsical poetic realism and his visual gift for storytelling.
The songs began in an idyllic rural setting, the village in Normandy where Peter and his family live. Peter enlisted his friend and producer/musician Mike Moore, who produced Baxter Dury and plays guitar in Liam Gallagher's band.
Peter is not only a survivor, but also a creative powerhouse with more projects, plans and reasons to stay alive than he's ever had. And in 2025, the year he turns 46, he brings us some of the most skillful, buoyant and charming songs of his ever-melodic life with his fifth solo album, Felt Better Alive.
