The Man Alive Records’ 30(ish) Anniversary Editions of ONLY LIVING WITNESS’ Innocents is housed in a wide-spine jacket that holds the album (on color vinyl) as well as a bonus 12” featuring demos/outtakes (on black) that have never been on vinyl before. The album comes with an 8-page booklet complete with rare photos, flyers, original art, posters, lyric sheets, and more from Jonah Jenkins’ (vocals) personal archives. The booklet also contains insights from those influenced by this album, including Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage), Brian Fair (Shadows Fall/Overcast), Iann Robinson (MTV), and the band’s late drummer, Eric Stevenson. The audio, including the bonus tracks, was mastered for vinyl by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Studios who, with Eric by his side, mastered the 2006 expanded CD editions. Additionally, the album’s packaging was redesigned to better match Jonah’s original intention of having a monochromatic design by Tom Bejgrowicz—known for his work with Quicksand, Beastie Boys, Johnny Cash, Snapcase, Eyehategod, and more.
“To me, Innocents sees the band taking their formula and boiling it down to the pure essence. Every song is razor sharp and focused.” — Brian Fair (Shadows Fall, Overcast)
“Their style would forever make [them] a staple in my life, as well as an influence on me as both a musician and artist. To this day Innocents is a benchmark and a turning point for me as a vocalist. Untouchable.” — Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage)
