Refused - This Just Might Be The Truth
Description
Refused is a Swedish hardcore punk band that was formed in January 1992 from the band Step Forward. They disbanded on 6 October 1998 after what was for the time being their last concert. There was a brief reunion in 2012. Today, Refused are considered a central European representative of this genre, but in the nineties, the formation did not receive the attention it deserved. In terms of sound, the Swedes were initially strongly oriented towards role models such as the Gorilla Biscuits, but also drew on elements from metal and rock. For example, their first demo included a cover version of the AC/DC classic "Back In Black". In 1994, the initial straight-edge band released their debut album "This Just Might Be The Truth" on the Startracks label, which now also provided its repressing with the original artwork.
