This track jacket in classic sports tricot with signature branded taping.
Cotton and recycled polyester sports tricot fabric / Regular fit / Coil zip with branded puller / Ribbed cuffs and hem / Laurel Wreath logo on the left hand chest and branded taping
Taken from a time when bold colours and man-made fibres were first introduced to team kits, our track jacket is pure ‘90s. It was styles like this that encouraged the evolution of sportswear as streetwear, and the track jacket took centre stage in the Britpop era. Made from a tricot fabric inspired by the original, the track tape refers to the cash-strapped time of the era, when branding was generic to all colours.

Fred Perry prides itself on being the first British heritage brand to successfully blend sportswear with streetwear to create some of the most iconic styles of the last century. Throughout our history we have always stayed true to our ethos of authenticity, integrity and attitude. The brand was born in the late 1940. From the beginning, Fred Perry - and the tipped pique shirt in particular - has been associated with a whole series of subcultures driven by musical affinities. Mods, skinheads, suedeheads, soul boys, rude boys, two tone.
