Formed in late 1994 by vocalists / guitarists / drummers Conrad Keely and Jason Reece, Trail of Dead has evolved and expanded their line-up over the years while still being creatively led by the two founding members. Friends since childhood, Keely and Reece began making music in the indie rock town of Olympia, WA and eventually moved to Austin, TX where they recorded "... And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead". Their first album was their self-titled work, released in 1998 on Trance Records. The album has absolute cult status and is celebrated by fans as a milestone in alternative rock / post-rock. Finally on high quality coloured vinyl.
