Down To Nothing - All My Sons
Description
DOWN TO NOTHING set out on a mission nearly a decade ago. The sentiment was a simple one, to keep the spirit of hardcore alive: A straightforward path free of the sidetracks, distractions and pitfalls that many a band fall prey to shortly after their start. In the closing days of 2009, DOWN TO NOTHING spent four days with Jim Siegel at The Outpost and left with six brand new hard-hitting tracks for their upcoming Reaper Records 7 "All My Sons". Such a feat would be daunting to most but the Richmond five piece, with many of their members serving double duty with such greats as TERROR,TRAPPED UNDER ICE, and BRACEWAR, retained their fidelity to their own guiding concept and the big picture. Although live shows have become more sporadic, it only intensifies the bands spirit when the occasions to play do arise. This intensity carries through to the recording and is mirrored in Vocalist Dave Wood's view on the future of the band: There are still a lot of things to do, places to go, and people to meet... Weve got that PMA.
