Description

When punk experienced its great melodic revival in the nineties through bands like Green Day and The Offspring, it also meant the final breakthrough for NOFX. The Californian trio had already formed in 1983, created a still unforgettable skate punk classic with "Punk In Drublic" in 1994 and advanced to become a punk rock heavyweight with their seventh studio album, "So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes", at the latest. Unlike many other formations, however, NOFX resolutely refused to capitalize on the reawakened interest in punk. Offers from major labels were therefore consistently turned down. Until "Pump Up The Valuum" was released in 2000, NOFX were signed to Epitaph, then the Californians switched to Fat Wreck Chords, the label of bassist and singer Fat Mike. In 2004 Epitaph released the compilation "The Greatest Songs Ever Written (By Us)". The compilation contained evergreens like "Linoleum", "Reeko", "All Outta Angst", "Bob", "Leave It Alone", "180 Degrees", "Kill All The White Man" or "The Longest Line" in remastered versions. Epitaph is now releasing the collection on vinyl for the first time.

Limited US Edition.
