Thrasher Skateboard Magazine has it in terms of design, everyone recognizes it by the unique flame logo. Founded in 1981 by Fausto Vitello & Eric Swenson to provide the scene with skate-related articles, photographs, interviews and skate hall reviews.
And of course, the business idea of bringing Independent Truck Company's own axles to skaters through the medium - clever move. Since its first appearance at High Speed Productions, Inc., the magazine has evolved from pure print to also a decent website with current topics, videos and its own shop, as well as skate competitions. The Skater Of The Year has been thrown out by Thrasher since 1990. An indispensable part of the scene, in business for over thirty years and always well informed. Merchandise is another hobbyhorse, not imagining how desolate the common skater should have been without Thrasher. The hoodies are of excellent quality, the prints are almost unspongeoutable and there is enough fabric left over after various falls so as not to freeze. Every skater has Thrashers in the closet. Vitello's son has now taken over the management of the magazine, so everything remains in the family. Thrasher and Independent - we need you!
