Santa Cruz is the archegate of skateboards, no one builds boards longer than the Californians. For street & pools, waves and snow, for every surface, name it, they build it. Rick Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman, all surfers from California, have been producing their mobile stands since 1973. With their own sales company NHS, acronym of the last names of the skaters, which is one of the most successful distributors of the whole skate scene the brand has a high priority within the scene - from the scene for the scene. We have to thank Jim Phillips for the colorful design and the unmistakable style, out of his pen come the contemporary and illustrative-sharp motifs - among other things the classic hand that demonstratively stands for the brand. The fun doesn't end with boards, skate and streetwear are now an integral part of the Californians. I wear what I drive is the here parole as well.
