The Roxies are a band from Berlin, their vocalist Matthew is originally from Yorkshire, England. He met the rest of the band in 2018 through a flyer in a Kreuzberg pub. They wrote songs and brought their different musical backgrounds together, played loudly from a former laundromat in a Berlin backyard. The Roxies are all about spreading the love and playing high-energy fun shows. In 2019 they self-released their debut single "The Roxies Are Coming". After a mini-tour in Northern England, they recorded their first full-length album Don't Wanna Dance in 2020
