"Haunted" is a re-recording of the 1986 song by The Pogues, a duet between Shane MacGowan and Sinéad O'Connor, which was featured on MacGowan's 1994 album The Snake by Shane MacGowan and the Popes and released as a single in 1995. The song was used in the soundtrack for the film Two If By The Sea (also known as Stolen Hearts) starring Sandra Bullock and Dennis Leary. The single reached the Top 30 of the UK Official Charts, sold nearly 15,000 physical units since its release, and is the best-selling single by Shane MacGowan and The Popes in their collaboration. Originally released as a 4-track CD and cassette single (with three B-sides by Shane MacGowan, including a cover of Neil Diamond’s “Cracklin’ Rosie”), the complete 4-track collection was never released on vinyl or digitally. For its 30th anniversary, it will now be available on DSPs and as a limited, ultra-clear 12" edition for Record Store Day 2025, in a single sleeve with the original artwork.
