Ian Fraser Kilmister - known as “LEMMY” for short - is still unforgotten almost 10 years after his death. He was a member of the space rock band Hawkwind and founder, singer and bassist of the rock band Motörhead. Lemmy's characteristic bass playing throughout his life was due to his background as a guitarist. He played chords, not single notes, and constantly strummed the strings with his right hand like a guitarist. He once said about obituaries that it bothered him that everyone was suddenly glorified: “An asshole remains an asshole, even if he's dead. Then it's just a dead asshole.” Lemmy wasn't an asshole, he was a sincere, fiercely determined man who never let himself be bent. People like to say that, but with Lemmy it was actually true. With the LP “Music Roots Of Lemmy” we look back on the past, successful times of the cult musician.
