After the legendary first Toxoplasma record, it was quiet around the band, until it went from 1990 in a new line-up blow after blow. After three albums, the band hit top form in 1994 with Leben verboten and presented - together with the debut - their best album to date. A cynical, but never resigned, personal and political commentary on the state of the nation, "Deutsch in Kaltland" the most apt description of the state of the leaden times. No place to live, standstill, Alle Irren, hit after hit. Toxoplasma were ahead of their time a second time, far away from all the dullness, arbitrariness and sloganeering of the 90s.
