Description
From 1990 to 1997, THREE O'CLOCK HEROES from Frankfurt am Main were one of the best-known bands in the region.
Countless concerts in Germany and abroad, European tours with THE VIBRATORS, NORMAHL, support for PETER AND THE TEST TUBE BABIES, as well as a tour of Germany with THE BATES made the Power Trio very well known.
Their high-speed cover version of Simon and Garfunkel's "The Boxer" right at the beginning of the LP became a hit that made it into the international independent charts. The Power Trio arranges songs between Sleazy Rock, Rock'n Roll, Mod and British 77'Punk with driving rhythms, catchy melodies, charismatic interpretations and always thrilling cover versions. "Cynical Bite" was released in 1992 on CD via WE BITE RECORDS. Lots of hooks, harmonic melodies and a great songwriting leave no doubt that Three O´Clock Heroes managed to reconcile punks and mods with this great album and to bridge the gap to a better way.
