Talco - 10 Years Live In Iruna

Since their formation in the industrial town of Maghera near Venice, TALCO had already delivered five formidable studio albums, and as one of the most capable live bands had not only toured extensively throughout Europe, but had also visited Russia and Japan. The six modest and politically committed northern Italians had acquired an enormous playing routine in hundreds of live concerts and had won a large and loyal fan base with their unique mixture of punk rock, Eastern European sounding folk sounds, ska and polka, their strong and animating physical presence coupled with their considered and emancipated messages. On the anniversary album, recorded at two sold-out and boiling-over shows in Pamplona (Basque: Iruna) in northern Spain, the 22 songs represent, on the one hand, the highlights from the band's albums and, on the other hand, the especially celebrated live smash hits. Sound-technically recorded and mixed to high standards, "10 Years" also lives through the loud audience, which can be heard clearly even during the songs. Over 72 minutes of atmospheric madness, not only a must for all TALCO fans, but also a live album, as it should definitely be!
