Stray from the Path is an American hardcore punk band from the USA, which was founded in 2001 in Long Island, New York. They have released ten longplayers and their music is categorized as metalcore-hardcore-punk, rapcore, rap-metal and nu-metal. Their earliest material was metalcore with elements of math rock, but over the years they have placed more and more emphasis on groove and technique. They cite Refused, Anti Flag, Rage Against the Machine, Converge, Glassjaw and Deftones, among others, as influences.
Throughout June, the band will be touring Europe, performing at over 10 open air festivals, 5 of them in GSA (including Rock im Park/am Ring) and playing 6 German clubs to present their new album “Clockworked”, which will be released via SharpTone Records.
