Three years after their celebrated album “Unbesiegbar”, Sondaschule are back with a new record.
After reaching number 2 in the album charts, three completely sold-out tours in a row through the biggest clubs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as prominent positions at the country's biggest festivals, you could say that the six musicians from the Ruhr region have achieved what they always dreamed of.
However, their triumph was overshadowed by a serious loss in 2021: founding member and guitarist Daniel “Blubbi” Junker passed away unexpectedly shortly before the release of “Unbesiegbar”. A caesura that shook the band, but also left its mark.
With “Wir bleiben wach”, Sondaschule are back on their feet - newly formed, stronger and with unbridled energy. This album is more than just the next step in their success story.
