LIFE FORCE is a straight-edge hardcore band out of Texas/Oklahoma. The group was formed in 2018 with a clear focus: the mission of paying homage to the sound, aesthetic, and spirit of classic youth-crew inspiration, albeit with a darker modern twist, while expressing pertinent socio-political themes and opinions through engaging lyrical content and a poignant on-stage message.
This push to put message at the forefront is (or should be) a vital component of the experience that is a hardcore band. The message, in this instance, is made up of an assortment of subjects, ranging from continuous positive self-development, veganism, straight edge, radical politics, and more.
The musical inspiration for the band was to create something that was clear and coherent in approach and style, building a sound that is unique and fresh while still calling back to obvious influences from the past and present.
