Description

Cotton-blend socks with an original Scottish Tartan design and Laurel Wreath embroidery.

Made in Portugal / Cotton-rich / Original Scottish Tartan / Colour-block trims / Laurel Wreath embroidery

As much at home in the Scottish Highlands as it is in underground punk clubs, tartan was originally worn as a symbol of its wearer?s clan ? a sign of aristocracy and a long and noble heritage. It was later adopted into streetwear in the ?60s for very different reasons: a metaphorical two fingers to the establishment. Today its familiar check design remains a key part of the subcultural uniform.

Fred Perry prides itself on being the first British heritage brand to successfully blend sportswear with streetwear to create some of the most iconic styles of the last century.
Throughout our history we have always stayed true to our ethos of authenticity, integrity and attitude.
The brand was born in the late 1940.
From the beginning, Fred Perry - and the tipped pique shirt in particular -
has been associated with a whole series of subcultures driven by musical affinities.
Mods, skinheads, suedeheads, soul boys, rude boys, two tone.
