  • Devil Wears Prada - zombie
Devil Wears Prada - zombie-For most bands, going the concept record route can be a tricky proposition. Theres always the potential youll get bogged down by that one idea and end up taking the whole thing way too seriously. But leave it to a band like crushing American metal six-piece The Devil Wears Prada to take the concept album model and raze it. Tracklist: 1. Escape 2. Anatomy 3. Outnumbered 4. Revive 5. Survivor

  • Integrity - those who fear tomorrow
Integrity - those who fear tomorrow-"My victims never knew what was going to happen" From the opening line of Those Who Fear Tomorrow to the guttural scream of Micha INTEGRITY devastated any presupposed notions you may have had about hardcore or who they were. Any ideologies you perceived the band to hold have been summarily disavowed. Almost 20 years later, Those Who Fear Tomorrow is just as bleak and caustic towards society as it was in 1991. Those Who Fear Tomorrow marks the second chapter from the first volume of one of the most loved and hated hardcore bands in history. For the first time on vinyl, this stunning album will be released with the full original cover art as well as expanded layout by INTEGRITY vocalist Dwid Hellion. Embrace this dark fiend and be a part of a long and sordid history where darkness reigns supreme. INTEGRITY are a weapon of the end. • Late Nite Wars - it's okay or even worse
Late Nite Wars - it's okay or even worse-Residing north of Boston, LATE NITE WARS exists as a group of kids longing for the days of fast, fun and aggressive pop punk. Influenced by legendary bands like LIFETIME, PIEBALD and THE GET UP KIDS, LATE NITE WARS are doing their best to recapture the feeling that they got from the bands they grew up on. The lyrics on their newest release Its Okay Or Even Worse stray from bitter-end anger to chin-up positivity, with topics such as the monotony of the daily routine, moving on from your hardships and the unbreakable bond of friendship. LATE NITE WARS gained worldwide attention after being featured on MTVs Real World Cancun in 2009. Since then the band has worked tirelessly to do what they love to do, play honest music from the heart. Its Okay Or Even Worse is a great example of the hard work that goes into being LATE NITE WARS. Tracklist: 1. Death By Routine 2. Pub Crew 3. Work Isnt Working

  • Herpes - komm vorbei E.P.
Herpes - komm vorbei E.P.-Amazing new 12" by Berlin based new wave punks HERPES. 7 synth driven songs sounding even better than the US only 7". Singer Flo's (ex- SURF NAZIS MUSZT DIE etc.) poisonous voice is pretty unique and they manage to take the best parts of early german new wave without sounding old fashioned. Even if you can hear they do like HANS-A-PLAST, DAF, ELEGANT etc.

  • November 13th - stillstand/weiter
November 13th - stillstand/weiter-Stillstand / Weiter is the 2nd full length LP from this crust band from Hannover, Germany. While they have several prior releases under their belts, NOVEMBER 13TH remains one of the best kept secrets in the European punk scenes. Musically they play dark crust that falls somewhere between later WOLFBRIGADE and FROM ASHES RISE. However, these references only begin to describe their sound, which is also much more melodic and varied than those comparisons suggest. On top of the crust foundation there are also some really unexpected and interesting variations to keep this interesting and unpredictable.

  • Make Do And Mend - bodies of water
Make Do And Mend - bodies of water-In this day and age, everything is a commodity. Music was the final frontier and even thats been reduced to a product. Honesty and passion have been replaced by dollars and cents with bands creating a look, writing a hook to catch the eyes of a young teenage girl and a record exec. Cookie-cutter bands and so on down the line have perfected a product that will launch them into super stardom. Theres nothing behind their eyes, theyre creating music for the wrong reasons. It has no real attitude. There are always exceptions to that trend though, you just have to dig deeper than whats being force-fed. MAKE DO AND MEND is the epitome of that exception. With the depth of HOT WATER MUSIC, the youthfulness of JIMMY EAT WORLD and piecing it all together with their own dark post-hardcore sound. MAKE DO AND MEND has delivered their latest endeavor, Bodies Of Water. Bodies Of Water encompasses MAKE DO AND MENDs own brand of posi-hardcore that is as melodic as it is fierce. MAKE DO AND MEND have perfected a sound thats more than able to convince you that aggressive emotion and heartfelt honesty are not dead in the punk music that we fell in love with. MARKETING / SELLING POINTS MAKE DO AND MEND have completed multiple US tours and have been touring nonstop in support of Bodies Of Water Tracklist: 1. Shambles 2. Winter Wasteland 3. Father 4. Our Own Ebb & Flow 5. No Words 6. TL

  • November 13th - 2008
November 13th - 2008-This is the 3nd full-length LP from this crust band from Hannover, Germany. While they have several prior releases under their belts, NOVEMBER 13TH remains one of the best kept secrets in the german hardcore and punk scene. Yet again, their sound varied again in a positive way. This time you'll get 10 tracks of fast forward hardcore, with the typical crust-influenced hints meets some sludgy and doomy parts. Don't worry, they still have their melodies on top, which still remind of EKKAIA, LEADERSHIP or TRAGEDY and FROM ASHES RISE.

  • Greenland Whalefishers - songs from the bunker
Greenland Whalefishers - songs from the bunker-Die brandneue CD der norwegischen Folkpunkband Nr. 1 - Greenland Whalefishers mit dem Namen "Songs from the bunker".

  • Sword, The - warp riders

  • Rival Mob - hardcore for hardcore
Rival Mob - hardcore for hardcore-After months of talks between lawyers on both sides, the contracts have been signed and their SFU debut "Hardcore for Hardcore" is ready to release. It picks up where the smash hit "Raw Life" left off, bringing us 6 new songs of classic Boston style hardcore. Described as "Mental with the Tasmanian Devil singing" this is probably going to go down as the greatest record in history.

  • Alpha & Omega - life swallower
Alpha & Omega - life swallower-ALPHA & OMEGA has never been a band that has taken things for granted. Ever since their inception in 2008, ALPHA & OMEGA broke out and hit the ground running. Their relentless touring has seen them travel across the U.S. three times, hitting such festivals as Sound & Fury, This Is Hardcore, United Blood, and SXSW all this with only a demo, 7 EP, and two compilation appearances. During this hellish schedule, ALPHA & OMEGA was able to find the time to write and record 11 songs for their debut LP, Life Swallower, with Paul Miner (Throwdown, New Found Glory, Terror, Thrice). Meshing the classic thrash sound of early Metallica and the sheer aggression of the Cro-Mags, Life Swallower will surely push ALPHA & OMEGA to the top of the hardcore heap. Its only the middle of July, but its safe to say that this will be at the forefront of many top record lists come December. The band has absolutely no plans of slowing down, as they continue the same unyielding touring schedule. Nothing will stop ALPHA & OMEGA from conquering the world, not even the icy cliffs of Colorado that took the life of their van and came within inches of taking the bands' lives as well...

  • Mother Of Mercy - III
Mother Of Mercy - III-To almost everyone, the Samhain reference in the band name should serve to give you a hint of where these guys are coming from. To elaborate, let me throw out some more names for you - Only Living Witness, Undertow, with bits of old Metallica and contemporaries Iron Age. In short, what Mother Of Mercy brings to the table is punishing mid-tempo hardcore thats not short on monstrous riffs, demonic yowls, and parts designed to motivate every different variety of coreman to hurt the person standing next to them. After just a year and a half of existence theyve released two well-received EPs on Collapse records, and in addition to their hometown dominance theyve made it out to California for Sound and Fury 08 and just wrapped up a winter tour with the Mongoloids. Now with the release of their debut LP, Mother Of Mercy takes the time to flesh out their sound, as well as kick it up to the next level. With gatefold cover art and layout by E. of Swedish Black Metal gods Watain to round out the package there's no way you can pass this record up.

  • Bitter End - guilty as charged
Bitter End - guilty as charged-Bitter End are an intense hardcore band from San Antonio, Texas, influenced by the metallic New York Hardcore bands of the late 80's and early 90's. With their exhaustive touring and their debut 7"EP "Mind In Chains", they established themselves as a brute force in the hardcore community. Refining their mid-tempo power displayed in their previous release, Bitter End took it to the next level with their debut album, "Climate of Fear". Tight production accentuated song after song, creating a controlled chaos few bands could ever achieve. They soon after followed this album with a three song "Self Titled" 7"EP. A release that displayed a band evolving and refining their technical ability and song writing power. 2010 brings us "Guilty As Charged", the pummeling new album from Bitter End. With all the makings of a contemporary hardcore classic, "Guilty As Charged" bruises and batters with dynamic riffing, potent vocals/lyrics, and bone shaking breakdowns. Songs like "Unjust" and the title track "Guilty As Charged" showcase this hybrid brand of hard hitting thrash and hardcore. A tried and tested formula that Bitter End not only embrace, but continue to improve upon in their own vicious way.

  • End Of A Year - you are beneath me
End Of A Year - you are beneath me-Your favorite bands favorite band, Cohoes New Yorks End of a Year enjoys a distinct renown within the punk community. Well-respected and critically lauded but difficult and idiosyncratic, the band has done things their way almost to a fault. Eschewing sing-alongs and easy anthems in favor of personal lyrics, End of a Year stands apart from their contemporaries in punk and hardcore. Their strangely tense guitar-work framed within otherwise hook laden songs lends the band an unmistakable sound. Opting to be heavy in emotional rather than heavy in sound. After first gaining attention through a full-length on seminal hardcore label Revelation Records, End of a Year took to the 7EP format with a rare zeal. The result was EPs and splits from a dozen labels in half-a-dozen countries. Genuinely uninterested in genres and expectations, End of a Year released these records on a wide variety of labels while touring the world over. Building on the post everything sound theyve continued to pioneer, End of a Year returns to the full-length format with boundless creative energy. You Are Beneath Me is the bands most focused work to date. Expanding greatly on the recent 7"EP material theyve built their name on. Dense and anxiety-ridden, You Are Beneath Me approaches punk in a hyper-personal and singularly artistic manner. Not afraid to be confrontational, honest, and pure in every way. Proving that End of a Year continue to be a true breath of fresh air in today's independent music world.
