Day By Day - animal abuse...is nothing bygone-Wiederveröffentlichung der kompletten Day by Day-Diskographie auf einer LP! Day by Day aus Karlsruhe gab es von 1991-1995, in dieser Zeit veröffentlichte die Band ein Demo-Tape, zwei Singles und nahm einige Samplerbeiträge auf. Sämtliches Material der Band ist seit Jahren ausverkauft und schwer gesucht. Animal abuse vereint nun alle Songs der Band auf einer LP, angefangen vom Demo-Tape über die Ganz was feines-7, We need more than your compassion-7 und die Samplerbeiträge vom Irokäse Sound-Sampler und der Aggressions in an emotional way-EP-Compilation. Dazu kommen zwei gänzlich unveröffentlichte Songs aus 1994. Day by Day spielten eine wunderbare Mischung aus klassischem Punkrock und Crust, schnell, wütend und aggressiv, dabei aber immer mit eingängigen Melodien und der absolut herausragenden Stimme von Sängerin Tati. Textlich beschäftigte sich die Band vor allem mit Tierrechten und dem Widerstand gegen Ausbeutung und Unterdrückung, teils in deutsch, teils in englisch gesungen. Day by Day waren Tati & Frank (beide später Lost World), Ebba und Fischer. Die Band löste sich im Juli 1995 auf, um ein Jahr später in leicht veränderter Besetzung als Lost World da anzuknüpfen, wo sie zuvor aufgehört hatten. Auch 15 Jahre später immer noch eine absolut großartige Band, die nichts von ihrer Direktheit und ehrlichen Wut verloren hat und die viel zu lange nicht mehr auf Vinyl erhältlich war. Vocalist Bisonte and guitarist Marti eventually moved to Berlin and started Frontkick - the rest is history. Oi! The Arrase were a great tough oi! band, influenced by the likes of Oi Polloi, Blitz and The Oppressed. Bisonte's gravelly vocals spit out socially charged lyrics that deal with nazis, politicians, DIY as well as other topics. This collection compiles the "Anarkoi! album from 1998, an unreleased EP from 2002, the "Punks & Skins" tape fro 1997, 4 previously unreleased tracks and three songs recorded live.
